About Rachael

Rachael is an actor, director, producer and writer based in Houston, TX. As an actor, she has worked at theaters in Houston and throughout the country. She received a Best Actress nomination by the Houston Press for her performance as Nora in Rebecca Gilman’s  Dollhouse at Stage Repertory Theatre. You can also hear her on the original cast album of  The Marvelous Wonderettes: Dream On.

As a director, Rachael has worked with many of the theatres in Houston, as well as assisted for Kevin Moriarty at The Alley Theatre , for Melissa Rain Anderson at Geva Theatre Center and Repertory Theatre of St Louis, and for Marcia Milgrom Dodge and Robert O’Hara at TUTS.

Rachael is the co-founder and co-artistic director for Rogue Productions.

As a writer, Rachael is currently working on a one-woman show based on her grandmother.

World Premier of PULSATE: A Vampire Musical at Prohibition Theatre

Rachael recently Directed and Co-Produced the world premier of PULSATE: A Vampire Musical at Prohibition Theatre in Houston, TX. PULSATE’s creator, Faith Fossett received a Supporting Artists and Creative Individuals Grant from the Houston Arts Alliance. In August, she directed a month long workshop of the show thanks to the Artist Residency Program at Rec Room.
